පුත්තලම දිස්ත්රික් කෘෂිකර්ම කමිටුව පසුගිය දා දිස්ත්රික් ලේකම් එච්.එම්.එස්.පි.හේරත් මහතාගේ ප්රධානත්වයෙන් කාර්යාල ශ්රවනාගාරයේ දි පැවැත්විණි.
මෙහිදී පසුගිය වසරේ වී වගා ප්රගතිය පිළිබඳව අදහස් දැක් වූ කෘෂිකර්ම අධ්යක්ෂවරිය පවසා සිටියේ 2024 /25 මහ කන්නයේ වී වගා ප්රගතිය 90.63% ක් බවයි. එමෙන්ම පුත්තලම මුළු කුඹුරු භූමි ප්රමාණය හෙක්ටයාර 25103.0 කි. තවද 2024 /25 මහ කන්නයේ දි හෙක්ටයාර 20687.82ක භූමි ප්රමාණයක වී වගා ප්රගතිය වාර්තා වී තිබේ. ඒ අනුව අපේක්ෂිත නිෂ්පාදනය මෙට්රික් ටොන් 90,000ක් බවත් පවසන ලදි.
එමෙන්ම අයහපත් කාලගුණය නිසා කුඹුරු ඉඩම් හෙක්ටයාර 782.34 ක පුර්ණ හානි සිදුව ඇති බව හා ඉඩම් හෙක්ටයාර 58.02ක අර්ධ හානි සිදුව ඇති බව අධ්යක්ෂවරිය මෙහිදී පවසන ලදි. එසේ වුවද පූර්ණ හානි සිදු වූ කුඹුරු 95%ක් පමණ නැවත වගා කර ඇති බව ද ඇය පැවසීය.
මේ වන විට 2024/25 මහකන්නයේ වි අස්වැන්න නෙලීමේ කටයුතු ආරම්භ කර ඇත.පෙබරවාරි මාසයේ දී වැඩිම අස්වනු ප්රමාණයක් නෙලා ගනු ලබන බවත් එය මුළු නිෂ්පාදනයෙන් 54%ක් පමණ බවත් පවසන ලදි.
තව ද වි වගාවේ කීඩෑ හානිය පැතිර යාමේ අවදානමක් ඇති බවත් මහකුඹුක්කඩවල කුඹුරු හෙක්ටයාර 22 ක් හා මාදම්පේ සහ නාත්තන්ඩිය ප්රාදේශීය ලේකම් කොට්ඨාසයන් හි කුඹුරු හෙක්ටයාර 30 ක පමණ මෙම හානිය ව්යාප්තව ඇති බවත් අධ්යක්ෂවරිය පවසයි.
එමෙන්ම 2024 වර්ෂයේ වාර්ෂික පොල් අස්වැන්න ගෙඩි මිලියන 529ක් බව පොල්වගා කිරිමේ මණ්ඩලය කෘෂිකර්ම කමිටුවේ දී පවසන ලදි. දිස්ත්රික්කයේ පොල් වගා කර ඇති මුළු භුමි ප්රමාණය හෙක්ටයාර 78,885කි.
දේශිය හා විදේශීය වෙළෙද පොල ඉලක්ක කොට ක්රියාත්මක තැඹිලි ගම්මාන වැඩසටහන යටතේ නාත්තන්ඩිය , දංකොටුව ප්රාදේශීය ලේකම් කොට්ඨාසයන් හි තැඹිලි ගම්මාන පිහිටුවා ඇත.
ඒ අනුව නව/නැවත/යටි වගාව සඳහා තැඹිලි පැල 790ක් ගෙවතු වගා සඳහා පැල 200ක් තැඹිලි ගම්මාන සඳහා පැල 2522ක් ගොවින් වෙත ලබා දී තිබේ. තැඹිලි බීජ එකතු කිරිම යටතේ ගෙඩි 2139ක් ලෙස පසුගිය වසරේ ප්රගතිය සටහන් වේ. පොල් සංවර්ධන අධිකාරිය සඳහන් කරන්නේ පසුගිය වසරේ දී පුත්තලම දිස්ත්රික්කයෙන් තැඹිලි ගෙඩි 232,330ක ප්රමාණයක් අපනයනය කිරීමට හැකි වූ බවයි.
මෙහිදි ප්රගතිය ඉදිරිපත්කල සත්ව නිෂ්පාදන හා සෞඛ්ය දෙපාර්තමේන්තුව සඳහන් කරන්නේ 2024 වර්ෂයේ බිත්තර නිෂ්පාදනය මිලියන 234.24ක් බවයි. බොයිලර් මස් නිෂ්පාදනය කි.ග්රෑ. මිලියන 35.80කි. පසුගිය වසරේ ගව මස් නිෂ්පාදනය කි.ග්රෑ. මිලියන 1.67 හා එළු බැටළු මස් නිෂ්පාදනය කි.ග්රෑ.මිලියන 0.5 බව සත්ව නිෂ්පාදන හා සෞඛ්ය දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ නියෝජ්ය අධ්යක්ෂ වෛද්ය ඈන් ප්රනාන්දු මහත්මිය පවසන ලදි. තවද ඌරු මස් නිෂ්පාදනය කි.ග්රෑ.මිලියන 2.17 බවත් දිස්ත්රික්කය තුළ ලියාපදිංචි සූකර ගොවිපල සංඛ්යාව 1466 බවත් ඇය පැවසීය. පසුගිය දින වල පැවැති සූකර වසංගත තත්වය නිසා සතුන් 1600 පමණ මිය ගොස් ඇත. එය වෛරස් රෝගී තත්වයක් බැවින් තවදුරටත් රෝගය වාර්තා වන බවත් සෞඛ්ය ආරක්ෂිත ක්රමවේද යටතේ ගොවිපල පවත්වාගෙන යාම තුළින් මෙම තත්වය පාලනය කළ හැකි බව නියෝජ්ය අධ්යක්ෂවරිය වැඩිදුරටත් පැවසන ලදි.
මෙවර දිස්ත්රික් කෘෂිකර්ම කමිටුව සඳහා පැමිණි ගොවි සංවිධාන නියෝජිතයින් විසින්, පොහොර සහනාධාරය වෙනුවට පොහොර ලබා දෙන ලෙස, කහ රෝගය ව්යාප්ත වීම, බිත්තර වි තුළ ප්රමිතියේ ගැටළු පවතින බව, ඉගිනිමිටිය රක්ෂිතයේ වගා කිරිම සම්බන්ධව, කරුවලගස්වැව හා නවගත්තේගම කොට්ඨාසයන් හි සත්ව නිෂ්පාදන හා සෞඛ්ය දෙපාර්තමේන්තුවේ නිලධාරි හිගය හා යටිතල පහසුකම් ගැටළු, සතුන් සඳහා තනකොල වැවිමට ඉඩම් ලබා දීමේ අවශ්යතාව ආදි කරුණු පිළිබඳව ගැටළු හා අදහස් ඉදිරිපත් කරන ලදි.

கடந்த ஆண்டு நெற்செய்கையின் முன்னேற்றம் குறித்து கருத்து தெரிவித்த விவசாய பணிப்பாளர், 2024/25 பெரும் போகத்தில் நெற்செய்கையின் முன்னேற்றமானது 90.63% என்றும், புத்தளத்தில் உள்ள மொத்த வயல்களின் பரப்பளவானது 25103.0 ஹெக்டேர் என்றும், மேலும் 2024/25 பெரும் போகத்தில் 20687.82 ஹெக்டேர் பரப்பளவில் நெல் சாகுபடி பதிவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளது என்றும் அதன்படி, 90,000 மெட்ரிக் டொன் நெல் உற்பத்தி எதிர்பார்க்கப்படுவதாகவும் தெரிவித்தார்.
மேலும், சீரற்ற காலநிலை காரணமாக 782.34 ஹெக்டேயர் நெற்செய்கை முழுமையாகவும் 58.02 ஹெக்டேயர் நிலங்கள் பகுதியளவிலும் சேதமடைந்துள்ளதாக பணிப்பாளர் தெரிவித்தார். எவ்வாறாயினும், முழுமையாக சேதமடைந்த வயல்களில் 95% மீள் நடவு செய்யப்பட்டுள்ளதாக அவர் கூறினார்.

மேலும், 2024 ஆம் ஆண்டில் வருடாந்த தெங்கு உற்பத்தியானது 529 மில்லியன் என்று தென்னை அபிவிருத்தி அதிகார சபையானது விவசாயக் குழு கூட்டத்தில் தெரிவித்தது. மாவட்டத்தில் 78,885 ஹெக்டேர் பரப்பளவில் தென்னை சாகுபடி செய்யப்படுகிறது.

The Puttalam District Agriculture Committee was held recently at the auditorium under the patronage of the District Secretary H.M.S.P. Herath.
The Director of Agriculture, who spoke about the progress of paddy cultivation last year, said that the progress of paddy cultivation in the 2024/25 Maha season was 90.63%. Also, the total paddy area in Puttalam district is 25103.0 hectares. Furthermore, paddy cultivation progress has been reported on an area of 20687.82 hectares in the 2024/25 Maha season. Accordingly, it was said that the expected production is 90,000 metric tons.
The Director also stated that 782.34 hectares of paddy land have been completely damaged and 58.02 hectares of land have been partially damaged due to the adverse weather conditions. However, she also said that about 95% of the fully damaged paddy fields have been replanted.
The paddy harvesting activities for the 2024/25 season have now commenced. It was said that the highest harvest will be harvested in February and it is about 54% of the total production.
Furthermore, there is a risk of pest damage to paddy cultivation and this damage has spread to 22 hectares of paddy fields in Mahakumbukkadawala and about 30 hectares of paddy fields in Madampe and Nattandiya Divisional Secretariat Divisions.
The Coconut Cultivation Board also stated in the Agriculture Committee that the annual coconut harvest in the year 2024 is 529 million nuts. The total area under coconut cultivation in the district is 78,885 hectares.
Under the King Coconut Cultivation Village Program targeting the domestic and foreign markets, King Coconut Cultivation Village have been established in the Nattandiya and Dankotuwa Divisional Secretariat Divisions.
Accordingly, 790 King Coconut plants for new/re-planting/under-planting, 200 plants for home gardening, and 2522 plants for King Coconut cultivation villages have been provided to farmers. Last year's progress was recorded as 2139 nuts under the collection of King Coconut seeds. The Coconut Development Authority states that 232,330 King Coconuts were exported from the Puttalam district last year.
The Department of Animal Production and Health, which presented the progress, stated that egg production in 2024 was 234.24 million. Chicken production was 35.80 million kg. Last year, beef production was 1.67 million kg and Mutton production was 0.5 million kg, said Dr. Anne Fernando,the Deputy Director of the Department of Animal Production and Health. She also said that pork production was 2.17 million kg and the number of registered pig farms in the district was 1466. About 1600 animals have died due to the pig epidemic in the past few days. Since it is a viral disease, the disease is still being reported and the Deputy Director further said that this situation can be controlled by maintaining farms under health and safety methods.
