පුත්තලම දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ දීර්ඝ කාලයක් නොවිසදුනු රජයේ ඉඩම් සම්බන්ධව පවතිත ගැටළු නිරාකරණය පිළිබඳව සාකච්ඡාවක් ඉඩම් කොමසාරිස් ජනරාල් චන්දන රණවීර ආරච්චි මහතාගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් 2025.10.31 දින දිස්ත්‍රික් ලේකම් කාර්යාල ශ්‍රවනාගාරයේ දි පැවැත්විණි. මෙහිදි දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ ඉඩම් ගැටළු විශාල ප්‍රමාණයක් මේ වන විට හදුනාගෙන ඇති බව අනාවරණය විය. මෙම ඉඩම් සම්බන්ධව ගතහැකි නිතිමය ක්‍රියාමාර්ග හා එම ඉඩම් රටේ සංවර්ධනයට දායක කර ගන්නා ආකාරය පිළිබඳව සාකච්ඡා කරන ලදි.

A discussion on the resolution of long-standing issues related to government lands in the Puttalam District was held under the patronage of the Commissioner General of Lands, Mr. Chandana Ranaweera Arachchi, on 31.10.2025 at the District Secretariat Auditorium. It was revealed that a large number of land issues in the district have been identified so far. Discussions were held on the legal measures that can be taken regarding these lands and how these lands can contribute to the development of the country.

The Commissioner General of Lands further said that formal guidelines will be issued in the future, especially regarding the activities under the Government Lands Ordinance. The discussion held at the invitation of the District Secretary, Mr. Y.I.M. Silva, was attended by the political authority of the district, Provincial Land Commissioner, Mr. R.M.N. Mr. Premasiri, Additional District Secretary Chathuraka Jayasinghe, Divisional Secretaries and many other officials participated.

புத்தளம் மாவட்டத்தில் அரசாங்க காணிகள் தொடர்பான நீண்டகால பிரச்சினைகளுக்கு தீர்வு காண்பது தொடர்பான கலந்துரையாடல் காணி ஆணையாளர் நாயகம் திரு. சந்தன ரணவீர ஆராச்சி தலைமையில் 31.10.2025 அன்று மாவட்ட செயலக கேட்போர் கூடத்தில் நடைபெற்றது. மாவட்டத்தில் இதுவரை ஏராளமான காணி பிரச்சினைகள் அடையாளம் காணப்பட்டுள்ளதாக தெரிவிக்கப்பட்டது. இந்த காணிகள் தொடர்பாக எடுக்கக்கூடிய சட்ட நடவடிக்கைகள் மற்றும் இந்த காணிகள் நாட்டின் வளர்ச்சிக்கு எவ்வாறு பங்களிக்க முடியும் என்பது குறித்து கலந்துரையாடல்கள் நடத்தப்பட்டன.

எதிர்காலத்தில் முறையான வழிகாட்டுதல்கள் வெளியிடப்படும் என்றும், குறிப்பாக அரசாங்க காணிகள் கட்டளைச் சட்டத்தின் கீழ் நடவடிக்கைகள் குறித்தும் காணி ஆணையாளர் நாயகம் மேலும் தெரிவித்தார். மாவட்ட செயலாளர் திரு. வை.ஐ.எம். சில்வாவின் அழைப்பின் பேரில் நடைபெற்ற கலந்துரையாடலில் மாவட்ட அரசியல் அதிகாரி, மாகாண காணி ஆணையாளர் திரு. ஆர்.எம்.என். திரு. பிரேமசிறி, மேலதிக மாவட்ட செயலாளர் சத்துரக ஜெயசிங்க, பிரதேச செயலாளர்கள் மற்றும் பல அதிகாரிகள் கலந்து கொண்டனர்.
