ලෝකයේ පැවැත්ම උදෙසා ශක්තිය ලබා දෙන ප්‍රධාන ශක්ති මූලාශ්‍රය  සූර්යයා ය. ගොවිතැන ප්‍රධාන ජීවනෝපාය කරගත් මිනිසාට අස්වනු නෙලාගැනීමේ කාර්යය උදෙසා හිරුගේ ශක්තිය අත්‍යවශ්‍ය වේ. එනිසා ම අලුත් සහලින් කිරි උතුරවා ලෝකයේ පැවැත්ම උදෙසා  ශක්තිය ලබා දුන් සූර්යයාට ස්තූති කිරීම තෛයිපොංගල් උත්සවයේ මුඛ්‍ය අරමුණ වේ.

එසේම තෛයිපොංගල් දිනයට පසු දා  හින්දු භක්තිකයින් තවත් චාරිත්‍රයක් ඉෂ්ට සිද්ධ කරනු ලබයි. ඒ ඔවුන්ගේ භව බෝග සම්පත් හි අස්වනු නෙලා ගැනීමට දායකත්වය දුන් ගවයා කෙරෙහි කෘතගුණ සැලකීමේ කාර්යය යි. ඒ උදෙසා ඉතා වර්ණවත්ව හා අලංකාර ලෙස ගවයා සරසවා ගවයා ඉදිරිපිට දී කිරි උතුරවා ආහාර ලබා දී ගවයාට ද සිය ස්තූතිය පුදකරනු ලබයි. හින්දු භක්තිකයින් වර්තමානයේ ද තෛයිපොංගල් දිනයට පසුදා මෙම සත්ක්‍රියාවෙහි  නිරත වේ.

දිස්ත්‍රික් ලේකම් එච්.එම්.එස්.පි.හේරත් මහතා , ප්‍රධාන ගණකාධිකාරි එච්.එම්.එම්.එච්.කදානේගෙදර මහත්මිය, සහකාර දිස්ත්‍රික් ලේකම් ගංගානී කරුණාරත්න මහත්මිය ඇතුළු කාර්යාල නිලධාරින්ගේ සහභාගීත්වයෙන් දිස්ත්‍රික් ලේකම් කාර්යාල පරිශ්‍රයේ පැවති මෙම සංස්කෘතික අංගය පාලාවිය ශ්‍රී නාග කාලිඅම්මන් කෝවිලෙහි  බාලනාත් ශර්මා පූජකතුමාගේ ආශිර්වාද මධ්‍යයේ පැවැත්විණි.

පසුගිය 15 දාට යෙදී තිබූ තෛයිපොංගල් උත්සවය නිමිති කොට දිස්ත්‍රික් ලේකම් කාර්යාලයේ සංස්කෘතික අංශය විසින් මෙය සංවිධානය කරන ලදි.

පුත්තලම හින්දු විද්‍යාලයේ දරුවන් ඉදිරිපත් කළ ඕයිල්ලාට්ටම්  නර්තනයෙන් මෙම සංස්කෘතික අංගය වර්ණවත් විය.

மாவட்ட செயலக உத்தியோகத்தர்களால் தைப் பொங்கல் விழா...

உலகத்தின் இருப்புக்கான முக்கிய ஆற்றல் ஆதாரம் சூரியன். விவசாயத்தை பிரதான வாழ்வாதாரமாக கொண்ட மனிதனுக்கு பயிர்களை அறுவடை செய்யும் வேலைக்கு சூரியனின் ஆற்றல் இன்றியமையாதது. எனவே, தைப்பொங்கல் பண்டிகையின் முக்கிய நோக்கம், புது அரிசியில் பால் வடிந்து, உலகம் இருப்பதற்கு ஆற்றல் தந்த சூரியனுக்கு நன்றி செலுத்துவதுதான்.

மேலும், தைப் பொங்கலுக்கு அடுத்த நாளில், இந்துக்கள் மற்றொரு சடங்கு செய்கின்றனர். இயற்கைப் பயிர்களை அறுவடை செய்ய உறுதுணையாக இருந்த பசுவுக்கு நன்றி தெரிவிக்கும் பணி இது. அதற்காக, பசுவை மிகவும் வண்ணமயமாகவும், அழகாகவும் அலங்கரித்து, பசுவின் முன் பால் காய்ச்சி, உணவு வழங்கி, பசுவுக்கும் நன்றி தெரிவிக்கப்படுகிறது. இன்று இந்துக்களும் தைப் பொங்கலுக்கு அடுத்த நாளில் இந்த சடங்கில் ஈடுபடுகிறார்கள்.

வண.சர்மா அவர்களின் ஆசியுரைக்கு மத்தியில் நடைபெற்ற இந்த கலாசார நிகழ்வில் மாவட்ட செயலாளர் திரு.எச்.எம்.எஸ்.பி.ஹேரத், பிரதம கணக்காளர் திருமதி.எச்.எம்.எச்.கடனெகெதர, உதவி மாவட்ட செயலாளர் திருமதி.கங்கானி கருணாரத்ன மற்றும் அலுவலக உத்தியோகத்தர்கள் கலந்துகொண்டனர்.

கடந்த 15ஆம் திகதி இடம்பெற்ற தைப்பொங்கல் பண்டிகையை முன்னிட்டு மாவட்ட செயலகத்தின் கலாசாரப் பிரிவின் ஏற்பாட்டில் இது இடம்பெற்றது.

புத்தளம் இந்துக் கல்லூரியின் சிறார்களின் ஒயிலாட்டம் நடனத்தால் கலாசார அம்சம் வர்ணம் பூசப்பட்டது.

District Secretariat Officers Celebrate Thai Pongal Festival....

The main source of energy for the existence of the world is the sun. The energy of the sun is essential for the work of harvesting crops for the man whose main livelihood is farming. Therefore, the main purpose of the Thai Pongal festival is to thank the Sun who gave the energy for the existence of the world by overflowing with milk from the new rice.

Also, on the day after Thai Pongal, Hindus perform another ritual. It is the work of showing gratitude to the cows that contributed to the harvesting of their natural crops. For that, the cow is decorated very colourfully and beautifully, milk is boiled in front of the cow and food is given and the cow is also thanked. Hindus today also engage in this ritual on the day after Thai Pongal.

District Secretary Mr. H. M. S. P. Herath, Chief Accountant Mrs. H. M. H. Kadanegedara, Assistant District Secretary Mrs. Gangani Karunaratne, and other office officials participated in this cultural event held at the district secretariat premises. Held amid the blessings of Rev. Sharma.

This was organized by the Cultural Section of the District Secretariat on the occasion of the Thai Pongal festival that was held on the 15th.

The cultural aspect was colored by the oillattam dance performed by the children of Puttalam Hindu College.
